Vikas Srivastava

I serve on the KFP Board because of my relationship with co-founder Jill McManigal, my alliance with the mission/vision and the culture of the organization. I have known Jill for many years, am familiar with her work and I trust her intentions. Furthermore, I sincerely feel KFP has found a formula for promoting peace that is both effective and popular. In addition, I feel my involvement with KFP is in alignment with my work around non-violence over the last 20 years in schools, business, workshops and writings. Finally, I feel my efforts will be worthwhile because the organization is sustainable. KFP has not only sustained for 10 years, but more importantly, developed a culture that is based on mutual respect and inspiration. In short, the board is a clear example of the larger efforts of Kids for Peace. It’s an honor to be part of an organization that impacts the world while modeling the mission through out its work with the board, staff, volunteers and chapters. I believe this is an organization that will create impact and leave a legacy well beyond our individual contributions.
