Headlining Acts
We’re bringing the hype with 5 hot bands already making waves and turning heads in San Diego and beyond! These are the names everyone’s talking about, and they’ll be lighting up the PEACEFEST stage!
The B-Side Players are a 9-piece San Diego-based band at the forefront of a new movement in popular music—one that celebrates the international cross-pollination that makes music a true universal language. Known for their electrifying blend of Latin, funk, reggae, soul, and jazz, they draw from any rhythm that moves them, regardless of genre or geography. Led by Karlos Paez, the band delivers horn-driven, polyrhythmic grooves with conscious lyrics and Chicano soul, creating powerful, high-energy performances that unite global sounds with local roots.

We the Commas are a surf-alternative R&B trio from San Diego made up of brothers Lenny, Jordy, and Cam Comma. Blending laid-back, wave-inspired guitar with smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics, they’ve coined their own genre—Surf Alternative R&B (SARB). Often referred to as the Black Beach Boys, they deliver a fresh, soulful sound that’s as breezy and vibrant as the beach culture that inspires them.

The Agents of Apollo are a high-energy cover band from San Diego/La Mesa, delivering a dynamic mix of funk, R&B, rock, and jazz. Inspired by legends like Zapp & Roger, Parliament-Funkadelic, Erykah Badu, the Gap Band, and Prince, they fuse vintage grooves with modern edge. Known for their tight musicianship and polished stage presence, they bring an electrifying, soulful experience that gets every crowd moving.

AND JOY
AND JOY is an up and coming house music duo made up of Andrew Vetter, producer and artist, and Hana Joy, singer/songwriter and the very first Kids for Peace kid. Coming from sunny San Diego, AND JOY brings a soul-charged, groovy vibe that will get you on your feet and ready to move! Taking the first three letters of Andrew’s name and the last three of Hana Joy’s, this pair cultivates an eclectic sound in their sets that will fill you with love, peace, AND JOY!!
Lee Coulter is an Australian-born, San Diego–based singer-songwriter known for his soulful blend of folk, pop, reggae, and blues. With heartfelt lyrics, smooth acoustic grooves, and a voice that radiates warmth, he crafts songs that uplift and connect. Named SiriusXM’s “Discovery of the Year” and winner of a San Diego Music Award, Coulter has shared stages with legends like Tom Jones and Jason Mraz, earning a reputation for intimate yet high-energy performances.

DJ Sean – Crate Miners DJ Services
With 25+ years behind the decks, DJ Sean delivers unmatched energy and experience to events across California. From weddings and corporate events to concerts and karaoke nights, he’s known for creating unforgettable, high-energy moments with seamless mixes and professional sound, lighting, and MC services.
DJ Cash – Rising Talent
DJ Cash brings fresh energy and creativity to the turntables, spinning Top 40, hip-hop, EDM, and throwbacks. Already making waves at community events and parties, this young talent is quickly building a name with his dynamic, crowd-moving sets.
PEACEFEST Band Jam
We’re also proud to support the next generation of talent with our Peacefest Band Jam—a friendly competition for tween and teen bands, featuring 6 amazing up-and-coming groups.
These young artists will hit the stage with a mix of original songs and crowd-favorite covers, bringing peaceful competition, big talent, and unforgettable performances.

Born Elektric is a dynamic group made up of two pairs of talented siblings who began their musical journey together in 2021. Brought together by a shared love of music and creativity, they quickly found their rhythm writing songs and performing as a group. Known for their powerful stage presence and passion for timeless hits, Born Elektric brings a fresh energy to classic rock and pop cover songs spanning from the 1960s to today, electrifying audiences every time they play.

Hill Street Six
Hill Street Six brings the heat with raw teen talent, tight chemistry, and a love for music that started on the sun-soaked coast of Oceanside, CA. What began as a group of independent students jamming at Coastal Music Studios turned into something electric. United by the studio’s band program and regular performances, these young musicians forged not just a band—but a bond. Their name is a nostalgic nod to the studio’s location on Coast Highway, formerly known as Hill Street. From classic rock vibes to modern pop rock, Hill Street Six stands out for their passion, energy, and unstoppable drive. Keep your eyes (and ears) on them—they’re just getting started.
Next Week
As a band, Next Week leans more towards acoustic indie songs. Overall, we play a mix of genres, bridging contemporary pop and more classical music. Based in Carlsbad, we got to know each other through our school’s chamber orchestra. We are uniquely diverse, with members from all different cultural and musical backgrounds.

The Long View
Classic surf, rock ‘n roll, rockabilly, folk and country reimagined by a self-taught family from coastal Southern California. 2025 Winner of Encinitas’ Battle of the Bands and Sun Bum’s Grom-O-Rama, featured band at the California Surf Museum, Encinitas’ Moonlight Beach Concerts and Cruise Night, Leucadia’s Summer Fun on the 101 Music Festival and ARTWalk, Carlsbad’s The Camp Store, and Laguna Beach’s Fete De La Musique.

Meet TKB, a rhythmic-pop band raised in Texas now living amongst the stars in California. Met in a hastily put together middle school musical, the band is made of Juno the lead singer; heart of the band, Sean Andrew Bleu; baddest guitar player under the age of 16, Sasha; the groovy and outgoing bassist, and Abel; the drummer that we may or may not of picked up on the side of the street. Known for their expertly crafted shows that makes any stage seem too small, and any audience want to jump out of their seats- TKB is more than just a band but an experience.
The Cherry Bombs are an all girl grunge pop punk band from Vista, Ca. We met in sixth grade and quickly became best friends. Because of this close friendship it really makes us different from other bands as we all take turns singing lead and harmonize with one another. It plays into the songs we write and just into our overall connection on stage.
