PEACEFEST Band Jam
Submission Terms & Conditions

By submitting an application to participate in the PEACEFEST Band Jam , you (the band and its representatives) agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Eligibility
- All band members must be 19 years of age and under at the time of submission.
- Bands with members under 13 may apply, but a parent or legal guardian must complete the application on their behalf.
2. Submission Requirements
- All entries must be submitted via the official online form.
- Submissions must include:
- Contact information
- Band member details (names and ages)
- A live performance video (raw and unedited)
- Optional website or social media links
3. Performance Video
- Videos must be a live, unedited recording that represents the band’s true sound and style.
- No lip-syncing, overdubs, or heavy post-production is allowed.
4. Selection Process
- Six (6) bands will be selected as finalists based on creativity, musicianship, stage presence, and alignment with the spirit of PEACEFEST.
- Finalist bands will be notified by July 21, 2025.
- Selection decisions are final and at the sole discretion of the Kids for Peace judging panel.
5. Event Participation
- Finalist bands must be available to perform live at PEACEFEST on September 21, 2025.
- Transportation and travel logistics to the event are the responsibility of the band unless otherwise arranged by Kids for Peace.
- Performances must be family-friendly and uphold the values of inclusion, kindness, and peace.
6. Rights & Permissions
- By submitting, you grant Kids for Peace the right to:
- Use your submitted materials (video, band name, images) for promotional purposes related to PEACEFEST.
- Record and share your performance on social media, the Kids for Peace website, and media outlets.
- Bands retain full ownership of their original music and performance content.
7. Conduct & Representation
- All band members agree to conduct themselves respectfully and inclusively, in alignment with the mission of Kids for Peace.
- Discriminatory, violent, or otherwise inappropriate behavior may result in disqualification.
8. Privacy
- All personal data submitted will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
9. Agreement
- By submitting your entry, you confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate.
- You have the authority to submit on behalf of your band.
- You accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
