Friendship, Fairways, and Philanthropy
In 2019, fate brought the Maleks and the Traubs together at Aviara. What began as a chance encounter turned into a lifelong bond over golf, good food, wine, and travel. The Traubs, from Dallas, treasure their summer getaways at Four Seasons Villas, surrounded by friends who share their interests. Larry and Margi Malek, Aviara members since 2015, and Larry and Barbie Traub, are known for their friendship and community spirit. Larry’s milestone birthday inspired the Aviara Texas Invitational, a golf tournament merging their communities with a goal of giving back and supporting a charitable cause. Larry and Margi’s dedication to golf, camaraderie, and benevolence is a testament to the power of kindness and generosity!
