Creativity. Self-expression. Connection. Peace.
Kids for Peace, in partnership with the Carlsbad Charitable Foundation, is excited to offer Peace Through Art Workshops, a free creative wellbeing series for students throughout the Carlsbad Unified School District.
Through hands-on visual and performing art experiences, students will have an opportunity to express themselves, explore their creativity, connect with others, and cultivate a greater sense of peace and wellbeing.
About the Workshops
Kids for Peace will host one free 1.5-hour after-school workshop at each participating CUSD elementary and middle school on an early-release day. Students will get to keep each masterPEACE they create.
Each workshop will welcome up to 35 students and will be facilitated by Kids for Peace and professional artists.
Schools can choose from a variety of engaging projects designed with elementary and middle school students in mind. Each school is invited to sign up for 1 workshop. Kids for Peace will provide all supplies for all workshops.
How It Works
1. Choose your workshop.
Review the available workshop options, dates, and grade levels and select the one that works best for your school.
2. Reserve your school’s spot.
Workshops are available on a first come, first served basis.
3. We’ll take it from there!
Once your workshop is confirmed, Kids for Peace will provide your school with a customized flyer and QR code to share with families so they can easily register their students for the workshop.
